"AND HE TOOK THE BREAD, GAVE THANKS AND BROKE IT, AND GAVE IT TO THEM SAYING, "THIS IS MY BODY, GIVEN FOR YOU; DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME..."

In this picture, Jesus crushes a bushel of vibrant red grapes which flows into a clear glass cup. The mark of his sacrifice freshly on his hand mimics that of the grapes and alludes that to the metaphor Jesus spoke about concerning his body and his blood. .

"...IN THE SAME WAY, AFTER SUPPER HE TOOK THE CUP, SAYING, "THIS CUP IS THE NEW COVENANT IN MY BLOOD, WHICH IS POURED OUT FOR YOU."

In eating bread and drinking of the cup, Christians remember the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross to save us from our sins and restore us back to relationship with him. This painting is a fairly large painting and will brighten up any room with its colorful movement.

IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME IS A 24 X 36 INCH ACRYLIC PAINTING ON A STRETCHED CANVAS.
