New children’s book tells ‘The Love Story of Jesus’
Ashley Henry announces publication of debut title intended to bring kids closer to God
GLASSBORO, N.J. – Ashley Henry’s new children’s book, “The Love Story of Jesus” (published by WestBow Press), tells a colorful tale about mankind’s relationship with God and salvation, held together through the bond of love.
The overall theme of Henry’s book is love, specifically love found in God’s creation of mankind, Jesus’s sacrifice and finding a way to accept him as Lord and Savior. Focusing on the Gospel, the book explores the relationship between God and people and reveals what God did in order to bring salvation to his children. Poetically written, the book has vibrant pictures on each page to encourage kids to learn more about the Bible. On the last page is a prayer that children can use as a guide to accept Jesus as their own personal Lord and Savior.
“In today’s current society and culture, the Gospel is not something that is considered relevant, but at the
same time the Gospel is necessary because it is only through Jesus that man can be saved,” Henry says. “I
believe that this book can help make waves in our culture and bring more awareness and understanding
of the reality of Jesus in today’s society, especially among children.”
