ABOUT 
"The Wise Virgin's Lamp" is a reflection of the story of the 5 wise and the 5 foolish virgins who waited for the arrival of Jesus. The wise brought extra oil while the foolish did not. When the announcement came that the bridegroom had arrived, they all rose to trim their lamps and fill it with oil. Because the the light of the foolish was dwindling for lack of oil, they went to town to buy more; but, while they were gone, the wise were able to enter in to the kingdom and the gate was shut. This painting is a visual reminder to be watchful and ready for Jesus's return like the wise virgins who were prepared for their bridegroom King.

PRINT DETAILS 
Printed with a matte finish on Hahnemühle German Etching paper - a heavyweight, warm tone paper with a velvety soft-cotton texture. Print sizes include a white border around the image. SHIPPING
Small prints will be carefully packaged between an acid free protective cover and cardboard pads. Larger prints will be rolled and shipped in a mailing tube.
